What to Do, What to Do…

Once you’ve gotten food out of the way, you’ll want to do something during the rest of your vacation. Sure, Thanksgiving Day has football, but what else can you do? One option is to experience the Ice Land: Rainforest Holiday at Moody Gardens.
There you can see master ice carvers create gorgeous ice sculptures. You can also experience a mil-long trail with more than one million lights and lighted scenes at the Festival of Lights. Add in the fact that Galveston weather makes for a great day at the beach even in late November and you’ve got a Thanksgiving experience that your family will be talking about for decades, in a good way.
