Winterfest
Happening Friday, December 2nd and Saturday, December 3rd this is a two-day festival of crafts, vendors, food, and fun! Meet Santa and Mrs. Clause, ride the mechanical bull, or play in the snow. The fun holiday fun is endless! Located at the Galveston County Fair and Rodeo it is free and open to the public.

Island Market

The market is open to the public and features talent and products of all kinds! Happening Saturday, December 17th at the Strand Historic District. This event is open to everyone and has no admission costs.

While this isn’t one of the official events in Galveston happening this winter, it’s worth checking out! The Strand or historic Downtown Galveston is an awesome place for art, culture, and holiday cheer! This city is a step back in time with its old-timey gift shops and museums. But there are plenty of modern flares with its restaurants, boutiques, and breweries. Make sure to stop by the Christmas store for a holiday souvenir. This is an event that can happen all year round.
